Thank you to all who participated in our 100th Anniversary Celebrations. Our three-day celebration was a huge success! We continue to celebrate our centennial for the remainder of the year with the sale of our 100th Anniversary commemorative items: Sacred Heart Parish 100th Anniversary history book, commemorative pin, and socks while supplies last. On July 16, 2022, Sacred Heart Parish will celebrate its 100th Anniversary. In celebration, our parish is offering several activities and commemorative items, including:
Sacred Heart Parish’s 100th Anniversary Exhibit is now available for viewing in the Parish Center gym. The exhibit features memorabilia, videos, photos, and documents collected over the years in our parish archives. The exhibit is available for viewing any time the parish gym is open and will remain up through the end of July 2022. The exhibit is open to all, parishioners and non-parishioners alike. Special thanks to Grace Donnelly, Mary Catherine Haller, and Franny Seeman for organizing and displaying the exhibit. We hope all enjoy viewing our parish’s history.

Sacred Heart Parish 100th Anniversary history book: The book is coffee table-style, featuring color photos and text by Grace Donnelly. The book will be available starting Sunday, June 5, 2022 for a suggested donation of $50. All proceeds benefit the future Saint André House. Contact the Parish Office at 719-633-8711.
Sacred Heart Parish Anniversary Socks: Fun and whimsical socks custom designed for our 100th Anniversary celebration. They will be available for purchase with a suggested donation. Available starting in July.

Grace Donnelly, our Communications Coordinator, has videoed long-time Sacred Heart parishioners sharing their history with Sacred Heart Parish. The videos are available for viewing below and at the exhibit with your smart phone. Also featured are videos of Bishop Emeritus Richard Hanifen, first Bishop of the Diocese of Colorado Springs, and Bishop Bill Wack, CSC, who previously served at Sacred Heart Parish as a Deacon and Associate Pastor in his early days.
