Laudato Si’
Continuing in the spirit of Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si’, Sacred Heart Parish has committed to creating a Creation Care Team at our parish.
Our Laudato Si' Creation Care team welcomes you to study the Laudato Si'! Our classes have concluded for the season, but we hope you'll join us and become a part of our team and/or become a Laudato Si' animator. You can also join parishioner Liz GC’s weekly online Creation Care interfaith and small-group chat circle committed to studying the Laudato Si’, the Eco Bible, and other materials! The group meets on Thursdays from 10- 10:30 am, RMT.
As an individual, you can also sign up to become a Laudato Si’ animator, which provides an opportunity to work on a project to help one’s local community. The Church’s call to prayer and action regarding care for God’s creation is for all of us, and engaging also provides an opportunity for teens and college students needing a service project or community service hours.
Join our Creation Care Team by signing up online.
