Confirmation Preparation: Grade 8

Confirmation preparation at Sacred Heart Parish is a one-year process with students typically receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation during their 8th grade year. For youth who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, they need to complete the preparation process. Classes are held on Sundays, September 8, 2024- April 27, 2025, from 10:10-11:25 am in the St. André House. Students will unitize the Chosen curriculum from Ascension Press. Two parent/candidate meetings are scheduled for the year and those wishing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation must attend these meetings, class sessions, a retreat, and participate in a service event during the year. No more than 3 absences per year are allowed.
